  See the above on gift ideas.  His Story Unfolds at Sunrise Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV It is of the  Lord 's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The word “history” comes from the Ancient Greek word historia , meaning inquiry, learning through investigation, and an account based on what was discovered. It is not literally “his story” in the English pronoun sense. That common phrase is more of a wordplay than the true origin. Still, as a follower of Christ, I love the phrase “His Story” because it points to something bigger than human timelines. I am talking about the story of the Bible , from Genesis to Revelation . The Old Testament points forward to the coming Savior. The New Testament proclaims His death and resurrection, and it points to His return. And then there is my story, your story.
